SERVICES OF THE CENTER

All of our services are free and confidential and are open to any woman who is pregnant or is parenting a child age two or under. Our program is designed to encourage young women to realize how capable they can be.

We offer free pregnancy tests and free prepared child birth classes.

We have maternity clothes, new and used baby clothes, diapers, formula, new and used baby bedding, and many other baby items.

We offer Emergency Assistance. Emergency Assistance is a one time only chance to pick four used baby or maternity outfits, 20 diapers, and four accessories (used onesies, socks, sleepers, shoes, and other items). For women with an ongoing need, we encourage them to attend our Mom's Support Group and receive "Mommy Money."

Women who attend our Mom's Support Group receive a Mommy Money just for attending. If they participate in the Support Group, they can get additional Mommy Moneys in various ways, such as by reading one of our books on pregnancy or parenting or by bringing a friend to group. Mommy Money can be exchanged for a new outfit for the mother or the baby, or for two used outfits, for 20 diapers, for new or used bedding, diaper bags, or other baby items.

We have voice mail service checked regularly in Augusta and in Waterville, for clients who have a question or concern and would like to talk to someone.
